I'm on the North Hill or in the Croixwood neighborhood. Can I participate? Of course you can! This question came up right away but after we'd named the event. The initial idea was to celebrate the lovely community here on the South Hill but this was never meant to exclude anyone. Absolutely please sign up and we'll include you in our listings.
Is there a cost to participate? No - the intent is to keep this event free as a way to celebrate Spring and get out and talk to our neighbors while doing something positive for our environment. We are printing some yard signs which we plan to make available to anyone who wants them at cost price, but we will also have downloadable materials available. See our downloads page.
Do I need to get a permit from the city to participate? We checked with our council representative Ryan Collins who (thanks Ryan!) is very supportive of what we're doing and confirmed that this is considered in the same way a garage sale is and permits are not required because we're each selling from our own private property.
I've got another question or some ideas about how to improve - who can I talk to? Please share! The easiest way is to leave your details on our RSVP forms and we'll be in touch.
